The video begins just seconds after he allegedly took the hair, with Ashleigh angrily asking, ‘Sir! For what the hell reason?!

“This man took my wig off and kept walking,” she wrote in the caption of the post, which has spooked more than 437,000 views. ‘There are demons in New York, I swear.’

“We have been made aware of a video of a non-work related incident involving one of our associates circulating on social media.

‘We take seriously any inappropriate behavior by any employee, whether inside or outside the workplace. This associate is no longer with the Firm.’

The firm also separately confirmed to the New York Post that, without naming the employee, he had been fired.

The incident took place at West 35th Street and 6th Avenue in Midtown Manhattan.

In the opening video, the attacker appears to be responding to his teammates by telling him to apologize when he asks, ‘What for?’

‘For what reason did you take my wig off?’ Ashleigh asked angrily. What made you think that was the best thing to do? She continued. ‘Why did you do that? What makes you think that’s okay?

The man continues with a smile on his face, and Ashleigh says ‘it’s not funny’. You do not even know me. Do you hate women or something?

Users in both Tik Tok and Twitter have said they believe Orlich is the perpetrator, though the law firm would not confirm this when they announced their employee was no longer with the firm.

Ashleigh’s problem, according to a separate TikTok, was that while she was wearing a wig, it was sewn onto her real hair, meaning the pulling injured her neck.

She has since filed a report with the police but has stopped commenting on the incident, according to her most recent TikTok post.

DailyMail.com contacted the NYPD for comment on the incident.

They said that a complaint for assault had indeed been filed but that they had not yet identified the courier who took the wig.

They noted that Ashleigh had suffered a “minor injury” but no arrests had been made and the investigation was still ongoing.
