Four people have been injured after a car crashed into the front of a coffee shop. 

Emergency crews were called to the Coffee Emporium on North Terrace in Bankstown in Sydney‘s west on Saturday around 11:30am following the incident.

Paramedics arrived at the scene after reports a car crashed in through the front of the cafe.

Four people were rushed to hospital after they suffered minor injuries, The Daily Telegraph reports.

A NSW Ambulance spokesperson told the newspaper that one person has been taken to Liverpool Hospital. 

The spokesperson said there were several paramedics who were on the scene to assist the three others who were injured. 

Diners who were at the cafe said the vehicle ran straight into people who were sitting down eating.
