Bout, you’re back on Russia thanks to a prisoner exchange negotiated by the Biden administration for the American basketball star Brittney GrinerHe said he sent a telegram to Trump with the warning after the former president’s arrest and appearance in Manhattan this week.

“First of all, I believe that his life is in danger and that the legal process that has now begun in New York will not end in the conviction and disqualification of Donald Trump from the elections.

“Most likely it will just be removed there,” he said.

Russian arms dealer Viktor Bout, who was freed in a prisoner swap, said on Russian state television that former President Donald Trump is in danger now that he has been indicted in the Stormy Daniels case.

Russian arms dealer Viktor Bout, who was freed in a prisoner swap, said on Russian state television that former President Donald Trump is in danger now that he has been indicted in the Stormy Daniels case.

Bout, who served 14 years in prison in the US before his release in the trade, got at least one thing wrong about the US legal system. Trump, even if convicted of producing business records allegations related to the bribery of Stormy Daniels, he would not be barred from running for president.

He did not provide further evidence that Trump would be removed.

You will be welcome in Russia. You will have safe haven,’ he wrote, according to the document he shared.

He even adopted some of Trump’s own language, referring to an “evil swamp that had taken over.”

Bout, who was played by actor Nicolas Cage in ‘Lord of War,’ made the claim on Russian state television, as news week reported, at a time of high tension with Washington.

Bout made the unusual offer to invite Trump to Russia. Trump was investigated by former special counsel Robert Mueller for his ties to Russia and those of his campaign. Trump continues to criticize the investigation that he calls “Russia, Russia, Russia,” even after his arrest in New York this week.

Bout claimed that Trump would be barred from running in the election, which is not the case under US law. He said that Trump should come to Russia, where he could obtain safety and security, and lead an 'uprising' against the 'globalists'.

Said Bout: “Therefore, I believe that the best thing for all of humanity and mainly for all of the American people is to invite Donald Trump here, to Russia, to provide him with security and protection here to lead this uprising against the globalists and, what more important, it does not allow for the elimination of the American people.’

The news came a day when the Wall Street Journal reported that Evan Gershkovich was indicted for espionage in Moscow.

The newspaper and US officials have emphatically said the charges are false. It comes amid Russia’s fury at the United States, which has provided billions in military support to Ukraine after Russia invaded its neighbor last year.

National security spokesman John Kirby called Russia’s failure to allow consular access “inexcusable.” He is reportedly being held in a notorious prison where he has held dissidents and others since the Stalin era.

Trump criticized the trade that freed Bout last year, calling it “stupid.”

“What kind of deal is it to trade Brittney Griner, a basketball player who openly hates our country, for the man known as ‘The Merchant of Death’?” Trump wrote on his Truth Social app.

He may have been referring to his call to stop playing the National Anthem before games to protest the killings of George Floyd and other African Americans by police amid nationwide protests.
