A woman watched in horror as her 16-year-old cousin was stabbed to death in broad daylight at a busy bus station in melbourne.
The relative, who did not want to be named, said she was on a bus when she saw someone stabbing her cousin, Pasawm Lyhym, at the Sunshine Station bus crossing on Thursday afternoon.
She said she did not see the attacker’s face, but she did see the knife in his hand.
“I yelled and said it’s him, that’s him (his cousin),” he said. the heralding sun.

Officers were seen interviewing passersby at the bus interchange Thursday afternoon.
His older brother, Mawn Lyhym, 24, said his brother, who was on his way home, was chased by at least one attacker.
“He was funny, very nice, a welcoming and kind person,” Lyhym said of his brother.
Pasawm attended Staughton College in Melbourne and used to visit the exchange to hang out with friends after school.
Several family members gathered at the exchange Thursday as detectives inspected the crime scene.
Emergency services were called to Station Place at around 3:45 p.m. following reports of an injured man.
Victoria Police say the exact circumstances surrounding the incident have yet to be determined and the Homicide Squad is investigating.
The area around the Sunshine Train Station has been cordoned off while crime scene investigators process the area.
There have been reports of youths with knives hanging around the bus interchange.
Sunbury Line trains ran non-stop through the Sunshine station at the request of police for nearly an hour.
Police have asked anyone who witnessed the incident or has a mobile phone, dash cam or CCTV video to contact the police.

Last month, a woman received a cut across her face at a take-out food store in nearby Sunshine North.
That incident happened on April 11 after a couple ordered food from the Furlong Road shop around 7 p.m.
A woman collected the food at the counter before the man accompanying her walked over and slashed the attendant across the face with a sharp weapon.
The 49-year-old woman was taken to the hospital with minor injuries to her face.
A nearby resident said Thursday she was concerned because she felt this “happens a lot here.”
