A pro-Palestine protest has been shut down at Waterloo station in London.
There is now a huge police presence at the station as around 100 protestors sat in the centre of the station chanting “ceasefire now.”
One woman pretended to be dead whilst officers surrounded her on the floor.
British Transport Police say that the “sit in” has now ended but a large number of officers remain.
They posted on X, a social media platform formerly known as Twitter.
The post said: “Now There is now no sit-in protest taking place at Waterloo station.
“A large number of police officers remain in attendance to maintain order.
“Protestors have moved to outside of the station.”
Onlookers also took to X to share what had happened.
One said: “The police line has moved down to the Waterloo station entrance on York Road.
“The #Palestine protesters have dispersed and traffic coming along the Upper Taxi Road is moving”.
